Introduction to Field
As community-based comprehensive care systems have been promoted in recent years, numerous unresolved issues remain in the field of home care. To fulfil the wish of those receiving care to live in familiar surroundings or in the place they desire, we need to understand people’s needs and consider, implement and evaluate methods for providing care that meets those needs.
Message
We have supported research on a wide range of topics related to home care, from home care for elderly persons to that for children requiring medical care. We will continue to advance our research in collaboration with relevant hospitals, home-visit nursing stations, home care agencies, and local residents in Fujisawa City.
