The event "Golf and Life," led by the Keio University Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion and the Institute of Physical Education, was held on December 18 at the Mita Campus.
The event featured professional golfer Tsuneyuki Nakajima, who spoke on the theme of golf and life. The first half of the event was a talk show that explored the connections between Mr. Nakajima's approach to golf throughout his career and several current issues related to the concept of *kyosei* (symbiosis). In the second half, a one-point lesson was held, with a driving range set brought into the hall as shown in the photos below.
The laboratory of Associate Professor Inami, a committee member of the Graduate School of Health Management, also provided data from high-speed cameras. The session proved to be highly engaging, featuring discussions on the difference between subjective and objective perspectives and practice methods for correcting form, which had the audience leaning forward in their seats to get a better view of the stage.
