Institute for Economic Studies

The Institute for Economic Studies (Institute for Economic Studies, Keio University), affiliated with the Faculty of Economics of Keio University University, was established to promote pioneering research on various economic issues at Keio University University, contribute to the advancement of academic research in economics, and share its findings widely with society. To achieve these objectives, Institute for Economic Studies engages in activities such as disseminating research findings, building a network of researchers both inside and outside Keio University University, sharing and utilizing resources and information to support research, acting as a liaison for collaboration with domestic and international research institutions, and acquiring external research funding.

Keio Economic Society

The Keio Economic Society was established in 1936 as an academic organization for faculty members of the Faculty of Economics and currently operates as the publisher of the academic journal *Mita Gakkai Zasshi* (The Mita Journal of Economics). Since its establishment, the society has provided a forum for faculty members to present their research findings and engage in academic exchange. It is an important academic society that has continuously supported the advancement of scholarship, with the Faculty of Economics at its core.
