Careers and Post-Graduation Paths of the Graduate School of Economics

Approximately one-third of Master's program graduates proceed to the Doctoral program. Many graduates also find employment in private companies, utilizing their expertise in economics and data analysis.

Nearly half of Ph.D. graduates and those who withdrew with credits hold full-time research positions at universities in Japan or abroad. Including those working as part-time lecturers or research fellows, the vast majorit continue their research activities.

The career support offices at the Mita, Yagami, Shonan Fujisawa, and Shiba-Kyoritsu campuses provide individual consultations on all aspects of career planning. Students can seek advice on job hunting, pursuing graduate studies, studying abroad, and balancing career preparation with other commitments, such as qualification exams.
