University-wide Scholarship Programs at Keio University

These include merit-based scholarships for academically outstanding students, financial support for those experiencing sudden changes in their financial circumstances, and assistance for students from regional areas and those pursuing global learning opportunities abroad.

Adjunct Researchers

Adjunct researchers in the Faculty of Economics are primarily responsible for assisting with teaching in the Faculty of Economics. This position provides benefits equivalent to a tuition waiver, along with a monthly stipend of approximately 50,000 yen, thereby ensuring a research environment in which students can fully devote themselves to their studies and research.

Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled in the first or second year of the doctoral program at the Keio University Graduate School of Economics, or scheduled to take the entrance examination for the doctoral program in the following academic year.

Term of Appointment: 1 year (renewable up to two times within the standard period of enrollment in the doctoral program, subject to meeting the required conditions)

Research Associates (Non-tenured)

This position is designed to support the development and career advancement of early-career researchers who will contribute to the future of Keio University. Research associates (non-tenured) for major subjects in the Faculty of Economics are primarily responsible for research, research assistance, and teaching support, and may also be assigned to teach courses.

Eligibility: Applicants must, at the time of appointment, either have completed the doctoral program in the Graduate School of Economics at Keio University or have withdrawn after fulfilling course requirements, and must demonstrate outstanding research ability. Applicants must also have been enrolled in the doctoral program for at least three years but no more than six years since initial admission. 

Term of Appointment: 1 year (renewable up to two times in principle)
