The Graduate School conducts entrance examination twice a year: the first round (held around July) and the second round (held around February or March). In particular, given the diversity in graduation timing both within Japan and internationally, applicants to the first-round examination may choose to enroll either in September or in April of the following year. Applicants to the second-round examination may choose to enroll either in April or in September of the same year. To ensure broad accessibility for students whose native language is not Japanese, applicants may take the entrance examination in English only. The program also actively welcomes applicants who have completed master's programs at universities other than Keio University.
Applicants for both the first- and second-round entrance examinations are selected based on the evaluation of papers submitted with the application and an interview.
