Careers and Future Paths

We provide ample support to our students who aim to become certified public accountants and tax accountants. For 45 years in a row, Keio has produced more successful accountants than any other university in Japan, and more than 10% of all certified accountants in Japan are Keio students and graduates. More than 4,000 certified public accountants and assistant certified public accountants have graduated from Keio, many of them graduating from the Faculty of Business and Commerce. In recent years, an increasing number of graduates have gone on to careers in journalism, information technology, and public service.

Advancing to Graduate School

For those wishing to pursue more advanced, specialized education in commerce after graduating from university, advancing to the Graduate School Graduate School of Business and Commerce is one option. Studies at Graduate School of Business and Commerce cover four fields: Commerce, Economics and Industry, Business Administration, and Accounting.

Career Support

The career support offices on the Mita, Yagami, Shonan Fujisawa, and Shiba-Kyoritsu campuses offer individual consultations on all matters related to careers and future paths. A support system is in place to provide advice on all aspects of career path selection, including how to balance job hunting with graduate school applications, studying abroad, or preparing for certification exams.
