Developing Students over Four Years in the Faculty of Business and Commerce

After building a solid foundation in business and commerce during their two years at the Hiyoshi Campus, students advance to the Mita Campus to enhance their specialized expertise. Students can engage in systematic study across the four core fields of Management and Organization, Marketing Science, Accounting, and Economy and Industry—the core disciplines of the Faculty of Business and Commerce—while also broadening their interdisciplinary understanding through a variety of available programs. This section gives an overview of the four-year course of study. The key feature of the Faculty of Business and Commerce is the freedom for students to design their own academic journey by choosing from a diverse range of subjects that draw on Keio University’s all-round capabilities. Whether you aspire to become an accountant, master practical language skills, work in the world of finance, balance academics with sports, or study abroad, you can take responsibility for shaping your four years of study to achieve your dreams.

Students Join Seminars, Honing Their Knowledge Through Fieldwork and Programs

Mita Campus

Building upon the broad liberal arts education and comprehensive judgment skills cultivated in the first and second years, students systematically refine their knowledge by combining various courses centered on the four major fields (specialized areas) and programs (interdisciplinary challenges). Furthermore, this strongly embodies the tradition of “learning while teaching, teaching while learning,” in which students develop their own perspectives and hone their debating skills while acquiring specialized knowledge in small-group settings.
