Research Overview
We design and synthesize stable organic radicals that can be handled under atmospheric conditions and conduct research on chemistry of organic functional materials focusing on molecule-based magnetism. We are interested in the correlation between structure and physical properties and aim to develop new functional materials by clarifying molecular structures and their arrangements through crystal structural analysis and reflecting molecular design at nano level in macroscopic organic solid-state properties through crystal engineering techniques.
