Research Overview
My research interests include the ethical issues associated with chronic disease medicine and prenatal testing. I've focused on these ethical issues as part of the ethical issues in health care that arise from social injustice, such as inequality and poverty. I've approached these issues by analysing them from the perspective of concepts such as 'welfare', 'freedom' and 'autonomy', and by examining the debates in contemporary normative ethics and bioethics surrounding these concepts.
