Research Overview

I lead the computational microbiome research group, and we are interested in understanding the role the microbiome plays in health and disease using large datasets, computational methods, and artificial intelligence approaches. We analyze metagenomics and metabolomics data to decipher the functions, role and evolution of bacteria living with us humans.
