Research Overview

My research focuses on developing innovative electronics that utilize the charge, spin, and orbital degrees of freedom of electrons. The physical phenomena induced by various external fields and electronic states are investigated in the nanometer-scale regime where quantum mechanical effects emerge. In particular, I am working to clarify the fundamental properties of orbital currents in metallic thin films and the mechanisms of phenomena related to orbital currents.

Specialty
