Research Overview
My area of specialization is modern and contemporary Chinese literature, primarily focusing on Chinese literature during the Sino-Japanese War period by analyzing newspapers, magazines, and other media. In addition to literary works produced in mainland China, I study a wide range of literature originating from Chinese-speaking parts of the world—such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia.
