Research Overview
My research focuses on modern and contemporary Korean literature. In particular, I have studied how critical perceptions of universal values and ethics were formed in colonial literature. In recent years, I have been interested in and analyzing the ways in which questions of universality are inherited in various literary genres (science fiction, etc.) in contemporary Korean literature.
