Research Overview
My central research focuses on the history of education in Modern France, particularly from the Enlightenment to the end of the 19th century, resituating educational thoughts within the intellectual, social, and cultural contexts to clarify the contemporary significance. Among the educational systems, my study examines changes in French secondary education, focusing on the teaching and learning of humanities and philosophy. I’m also interested in considering contemporary issues of knowledge and education in the light of philosophy and the history of thought.
