Research Overview
Dr. Yoshinobu Takei specializes in international law, in particular the law of the sea, international environmental law and the law of international organizations. He has published on a number of topics related to ocean law and policy, including international fisheries law, protection of submarine cables, Sustainable Development Goals, marine scientific research, Arctic governance, dispute settlement, the BBNJ Agreement, ocean governance, maritime search and rescue, and flag State responsibilities.
