Research Overview
By developing and applying functional molecules with unique properties, we aim to enable the visualization and control of biological phenomena that remain impossible to achieve using conventional methods. This approach is designed to elucidate novel biological processes and disease mechanisms, ultimately achieving clinical diagnostics. Specifically, our research involves developing innovative fluorescence probes based on the development of novel fluorophores and the discovery of new fluorescence control principles. Further, we focus on engineering functional molecules incorporating artificial proteins and polymers to achieve the visualization and regulation of complex biological systems.
