Research Overview
This laboratory focuses on micro/nanofluidic systems exploiting small spaces. We are aiming to understand nanoscale fluid flows by developing super resolution measurement methods which overcome the optical diffraction limit. Simultaneously, we develop micro/nanofluidic operation techniques such as single-molecule transport and ultra-small droplet formation. Applications such as single-molecule analysis and artificial cells are expected for the fields of biology and medicine.
