Research Overview
【Research Details】 1. Oral Care and Lifestyle Disease Prevention Focusing on the link between periodontal disease and systemic conditions, we research "drug-induced xerostomia" (dry mouth) and evaluate the utility of pharmacy-based testing (blood/ECG) for early detection. 2. Multidisciplinary Support for Heart Failure Management Utilizing the pharmacy as a community hub, we develop systems for vital sign monitoring and medication safety (avoiding "triple whammy" drug interactions) to improve patient outcomes. 3. Gender-Based Medicine and Medication Safety We investigate sex differences in adverse drug reactions to provide safer, more personalized pharmacological care tailored to the physiological profiles of both women and men. 4. Generative AI for Enhancing Pharmacy Practice In collaboration with industry partners, we develop systems using Generative AI to streamline pharmacy operations, ensuring pharmacists have more time for direct patient-centered care.
