Research Overview
My research interests primarily lie with the impact of nonverbal and visual information on item response in multimodal tests of second language listening. I have also published on vocabulary assessment and the assessment of sign language production. My work focuses on quantitative methods, especially those employing item response theory (most frequently the many-facets Rasch model).
