Research Overview
Her research focuses on macroeconomics and monetary policy, with a growing emphasis on climate finance and sustainable finance. She analyzes central bank policy frameworks, inflation dynamics, interactions between monetary and fiscal policy, and structural changes in government bond and financial markets, with particular attention to the linkages between the Japanese economy and the global economy. She also conducts research on climate-related financial risks, climate disclosure frameworks, transition finance, and adaptation investment, with a focus on policy design and institutional development in Asia. Her work is closely connected to policy engagement through collaborations with international organizations such as the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), as well as central banks and policymakers across countries. She emphasizes policy-oriented and evidence-based analysis, and actively contributes to international media, conferences, and panel discussions.
