Research Overview
Our communication is carried out through such means as language, prosody, gesture, and facial expressions. Thus integrated processing of those modalities is required for achievement of friendly man-machine interface. Language processing plays a central role in handling multi-modalness due to its stability and informative power. Huge quantity of annotated video data will make possible automatic learning as well as precise analysis.
