Research Overview
This laboratory focuses on performance-based design and optimal design of structures that realize architectural and civil engineering structures with the performance demanded by the users and owners. In order to design the society that has the secure and resilient mechanisms against disasters, the disaster reduction systems and disaster-resilient housing and communities are extensively studied, in which risk evaluation and damage estimation of structures take a leading part.
Specialty
