Research Overview
The discovery of a novel bioactive substance often leads to breakthroughs in a variety of science fields. We seek to isolate such bioactive substances from nature and elucidate their structures. We have carried out chemical synthesis and bioorganic studies on bioactive natural products to elucidate their mode of action.
