Research Overview
This laboratory focuses on clarifying the control mechanism of the contractile and viscoelastic properties of muscles. An electromyogram, ground reaction force and a mechanomyogram, which is a mechanical vibration detected on the skin surface, are measured. Indentation depth and force are also measured. A system identification technique is applied to the measured signals and the viscoelasticity is estimated.
Specialty
measurement of human, electromyography, mechanomyography, ground reaction force, system identification
