Research Overview
Research in this laboratory focuses on advanced combustion technologies, including high-efficiency internal combustion engines, nano-material flame synthesis, low-NOx combustors, and combustion diagnostics. Fundamental combustion phenomena underlying these technologies are investigated through integrated experimental, numerical, and theoretical approaches, with emphasis on fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and chemical reactions. In addition, the laboratory pursues the optimization of existing techniques and the development of new approaches for practical applications.
