Research Overview
My research aims to show the tradition of Western science in the premodern Era. Especially the great translation movement in the Middle Ages, whose early stage is called the Renaissance of the 12th century, built the basis for Modern critical science and acted as a bridge between Islamic and European cultures. Based on the analysis of Latin texts and translations from Aabic into Latin on artes liberales, a biased view from western culture can be revised.
