The AY 2024 Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony will be held as follows.
*Details of the event may be subject to change should unforeseen circumstances occur. Any changes will be posted on this page. Please be sure to check back for the latest information.
*Please note that each graduating student may invite up to two family members to the ceremony.
*Graduating students and their family members will be seated in separate venues. Family members will watch the ceremony via the same livestream that is broadcast for online audiences.
*We ask that any graduating students who require special assistance related to ushering, seat reservations, or other accommodations reach out via the contact information listed below under "For inquiries on the ceremony" at least two weeks prior to the ceremony.
*We have prepared an accessible family viewing space for relatives with physical disabilities. Details are available under the "Venue" section.

Arrive by: 13:20
Commencement ceremony: 14:00—15:20
Please arrive at the venue by no later than 13:20.
*Please note that you will not be permitted to enter or leave the venue once the ceremony has begun.

*Family members will first be shown to (1) the Hiyoshi Kaido Senior High School Gymnasium. When that becomes full, they will be directed to (2) the Fourth School Building.
*Those with physical disabilities should go directly to (3) the Kyoseikan Collaboration Complex. *No reservations required
Important Notes
Refer to the map linked above for directions.
Follow directions from staff when arriving at the venue.
Please use public transportation when coming to the venue.
Refrain from gathering in front of the Hiyoshi Station ticket gates or nearby areas, as this can cause issues with pedestrian traffic.
We recommend that those who wish to use the restrooms arrive early, as they are limited in number and tend to become crowded.
To family members

While we have used experiences from past ceremonies to arrange for ample seating, please be aware of the possibility that the venue may reach capacity.
We recommend wearing warm clothing as the weather may be cold on the day of the ceremony.

Livestream
For all those who cannot attend in person, a livestream of the ceremony will be shared online. We hope that you enjoy watching the event. The recording shall remain available for viewing for several days after the ceremony.
