To prioritize the health and safety of our new students and to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the 2021 Graduate School Entrance Ceremony will be held with attendance limited to new students and a portion of related personnel.

We considered allowing family members to attend until the very end. However, we ask for your understanding in this decision, which was made in consideration of the situation on the Hiyoshi Campus, where access to buildings is restricted for infection prevention, and the impact on the surrounding area. We realize that family members were looking forward to attending the ceremony, and we sincerely ask for your understanding. There will be no designated areas for families, so we ask that you refrain from accompanying students to campus.

The ceremony will be live-streamed on the internet for you to watch. We hope you will join us online.

*If a new student requires an escort due to special circumstances, please contact us (see the phone number below).

*The format of the ceremony may change depending on the future situation of the COVID-19 pandemic. Any changes will be announced on this webpage, so please be sure to check for the latest information.

*In the event of unforeseen circumstances on the day of the ceremony that cause a change in the start time, etc., an announcement will be made on this webpage.

<To All Attendees>
・Please use public transportation when coming to the venue. To help prevent the spread of infection, please wear a mask at all times and refrain from conversation during your commute.
・On the day of the ceremony, please take your temperature at home and refrain from coming if you have a fever of 37.5°C or higher, or if you are feeling unwell. Your temperature will also be checked at the venue entrance. You will not be permitted to enter if a fever is detected.
・Please wear a mask at all times on campus and keep conversation to a minimum. Do not remove your mask even when taking commemorative photos.
・Please note that to avoid crowding, there will be no signs or photo boards set up on campus. Instead, we have prepared a photo frame that can be used on your smartphone. Please access it from here .
・After the ceremony, please refrain from lingering on campus unless you need to attend orientation or other procedures.
・Gathering for meals (dining and drinking with conversation involving multiple people) carries an extremely high risk of droplet infection, as it involves talking at close range without a mask, and has been a major cause of the spread of infection. We strictly ask that you refrain from such gatherings before and after the ceremony, both on and off campus.

<To Family Members>
