Lecture Outline
Advances in IT have dramatically transformed lifestyles, and traditional media are facing their greatest transition since Gutenberg's printing revolution. The roles of journalists and media companies are being fundamentally challenged, and new models are being sought. In these times, there are high expectations for Keio University, which inherits the spirit of public discourse from Yukichi Fukuzawa, to establish a "J-School" to serve as a compass.
