The 2023 University Undergraduate Entrance Ceremony will be held as follows.

The wearing of masks is optional. However, only those wearing masks will be permitted to sing the Juku-ka (university anthem).

*Please note that the format of the ceremony may change depending on the future situation of the COVID-19 pandemic. Any changes will be announced on this webpage, so please be sure to check for the latest information.
*In consideration of the health and safety of new students and to prevent the spread of infection, attendance at this entrance ceremony will be limited to new students and a small number of university officials. We ask for the understanding of all family members regarding this decision.
*A live video stream of the ceremony will be available on the internet for viewing on the day of the event. We encourage you to watch.
*In the event of any changes to the ceremony start time or other details due to unforeseen circumstances on the day, an announcement will be made on this webpage.
*New students who require an attendant for various reasons should contact the inquiry desk listed below.

Doors are scheduled to open at 9:00 AM. Please be seated by 9:30 AM.

Doors are scheduled to open at 2:00 PM. Please be seated by 2:30 PM.
Please note that entry and exit are not permitted after the ceremony has begun.

For those unable to attend in person, the ceremony will be live-streamed on the internet. We encourage you to watch. An archived video will also be available for a limited time at the following URL.

Please use public transportation when coming to the venue.
Please take your temperature at home on the day of the ceremony. If you have a fever of 37.5°C or higher, or if you are feeling unwell, please refrain from attending.
While wearing a mask is optional, please take sufficient precautions to prevent infection.

To avoid crowding, please note that no signs or banners will be set up on campus. Instead, we have provided a photo frame for use on your smartphone below.
