Yochisha ──Hiyoshi Excursion──

Published: June 01, 2025

At Yochisha, going on an excursion to the Hiyoshi Campus in mid-May is an annual tradition for first-year students. They were likely told, "When you grow up, you will attend this campus."

First, they gathered at the Memorial Hall, a symbol of the Hiyoshi Campus, and the first-year students were overwhelmed by its size. Starting from the Memorial Hall, they passed through the courtyard and went down a long slope toward the equestrian grounds. There, they received carrots from seniors in the equestrian club and fed the horses. Next, they took a break on the benches at the Mamushidani courts of the tennis club. From there, they climbed the stairs in the woods and went around the practice field of the American Football Team. The first-year students looked happy as they greeted the large players with a "Hello" after being called out to. After watching a practice session at the baseball stadium, they finally climbed the long stairs to reach the finish line at the track and field stadium. By this point, everyone was exhausted. After eating their lunch boxes and playing on the beautiful artificial turf, the first-year students' excursion came to an end.
