On June 26, 2018, we launched the "Mita-hyoron (official monthly journal published by Keio University Press) ONLINE" website, which provides web distribution of articles from "Mita-hyoron (official monthly journal published by Keio University Press)," the institutional journal of Keio University with a 120-year history.

"Mita-hyoron (official monthly journal published by Keio University Press)" was first published in March 1898 (Meiji 31) as "Keio University Gakuho" and was renamed to its current title, "Mita-hyoron (official monthly journal published by Keio University Press)," in 1915 (Taisho 4). After a period of suspension during the war, it reached its 1,000th issue in 1998, the 100th anniversary of its founding. As of June 2018, it has reached 1,223 issues.

Having walked alongside Keio University and society for 120 years, "Mita-hyoron (official monthly journal published by Keio University Press)" has gained a reputation as a unique, small-scale general interest magazine published by a university. It features a wide range of insights from a diverse group of writers—not limited to Keio University alumni—and covers a variety of themes, including timely social issues.

With "Mita-hyoron (official monthly journal published by Keio University Press) ONLINE," we aim to create a site where these diverse articles can be easily read not only on PCs but also on smartphones and tablets.
