Nurse Kids Support by KIDS Program
Information on "Nurse Kids Support"
Since its establishment in April 2018, the Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion has launched the "Keio University Child Care Support Program (KIDS)" as part of its measures to establish a work-life balance, and has been supporting faculty and staff members who aim to balance work and child care. On the other hand, the working styles of faculty and staff within Keio are diverse. In particular, the working patterns of nurses and midwives working in the University Hospital Department of Nursing are extremely unique, and we believe they face great difficulties in balancing work and child care. The Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion has now decided to launch a new "Nurse Kids Support" program specifically tailored to the working styles of nurses and midwives. We hope that this new support program will be of some help to nurses and midwives in balancing their work and child care. Mogu Mogu Support
We provide a subsidy of up to 5,000 yen per child per month for the use of meal kits provided by the following companies:

Nurse Voices
We will periodically listen to the raw voices of nurses and midwives who balance work and child care through surveys.
These voices will be used to further enhance "Nurse Kids Support."

Kids Cafe
We provide a place for people in various stages—before prenatal leave, during maternity/child care leave, and during shortened working hours after returning to work—to gather online and talk about child care. It is fine to have your children with you. Let's talk freely and connect online by exchanging tips for child care and sharing the worries and joys of raising children.
Night Shift Support
We provide a subsidy of 6,000 yen per session, up to 24 times per year, for the use of baby sitters or nighttime childcare during evening or late-night shifts. (Until the end of September of the child's 1st year of elementary school) (Budget limits apply)
