Volunteer Activity Support at Keio University
In October 2025, the Keio University Volunteer Support Office was established within the Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
Prior to this, in March 2025, a "Volunteer Partnership" agreement was signed with the Japanese Red Cross Society, allowing us to receive various expertise and know-how regarding volunteer activities from the Japanese Red Cross Society.
Moving forward, we plan to support Keio students' volunteer activities through collaboration with related organizations and hold training sessions and seminars. We will also accept consultations regarding volunteering at any time.
Through volunteer activities, we hope you will encounter various generations and diverse values in the local community, pay equal respect to the dignity of yourself and others, and take a step toward realizing a collaborative society.
Guidelines for Volunteer Activities at Keio University
Keio University (hereinafter referred to as "the University") believes that volunteer activities by students, pupils, children, and faculty/staff enrolled at the University not only produce results for the activities themselves but also lead to the cultivation of social awareness and independence in those who provide support. Therefore, we widely solicit information regarding volunteering. However, as an educational institution, we must place the utmost importance on ensuring safety and educational considerations in these activities, and thus establish these guidelines.
1. Eligible Participants
The Volunteer Support Office (hereinafter referred to as "this Office") targets students, pupils, children, and faculty/staff enrolled at the University for volunteer activities.
