On Wednesday, November 15 and Saturday, November 18, the Keio University Art Center held the Keio University Mita Campus Architecture Open Day.
For this event, buildings and rooms which are normally closed to the public, such as the Mita Public Speaking Hall (Mita Enzetsu-kan) and the Ex Noguchi Room on the 3rd floor of the South Building, were specially opened for public viewing. Many visitors, holding a map in one hand, were seen exploring around the campus.
Guided tours were also held on both days. Participants were seen listening enthusiastically to the detailed explanations of the Art Center’s curators while admiring the architecture of the buildings. They also enjoyed viewing the sculptures and fall leaves on campus.
