Keio Receives "Reuters Top 75: Asia's Most Innovative Universities" Tenth Place Award

Keio University was ranked tenth in the Reuters Top 75: Asia's Most Innovative Universities, which was announced by Clarivate Analytics (formerly the IP & Science business of Thomson Reuters) in August. On November 30, President Seike received a commemorative award from Hirofumi Hino, a Vice President at Clarivate Analytics.
The ranking used data such as the volume of patent and articles in academic journals cited to measure how much each institution contributed to the advancement of science, invention of new technology, and growth of the global economy. Keio University was the only private Japanese university that was placed in the top ten. It was rated highly in the world as a university that is carrying out innovative research.
