Keio Campus Festivals 2014

Update:Nov. 28, 2014

Festivals were held once again this year between October and November across each of Keio's campuses. Held over a two-day period on October 11 (Sat) and 12 (Sun), the 15th annual Yagami Festival bustled with attendees from around the area, who enjoyed scientific twists given to exhibits by the Faculty of Science and Technology. The 23rd Shonan Fujisawa Campus (SFC) Fall Festival was held over the same two-day period, its customary firework finale brilliantly choreographed in the autumn night sky. Also held over the same weekend was the 7th Shiba-Kyoritsu Festival on Shiba-Kyoritsu Campus, the home of Keio's Faculty of Pharmacy. The Faculty of Pharmacy attracted a great visitor turnout with their highly-professional exhibits and displays in the field of pharmacy.

Shinanomachi Campus, which houses Keio's School of Medicine and Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care, held their 37th Yotsuya Festival on November 1 (Sat) and 2 (Sun). Students focused on the latest in advanced medicine in several of their exhibits.

The festival season was concluded with the 56th Mita Festival, which was held over a four-day period from November 21(Fri)-24(Mon). The Mita Festival is based around Keio's founding principles of independence and self-respect, relying almost entirely on student initiative and participation from the first stages of planning to the final stages of execution and cleanup to ensure the festival's success.
