<Important Notice> Announcement regarding influenza A (H1N1) and University measures

Update:Jun. 23, 2009

To all Students, Faculty Members and Administrative Staff,

On the morning of June 22, 2009, a student enrolled at Keio University’s Faculty of Policy Management (Shonan Fujisawa Campus) was confirmed to have developed Influenza A (H1N1).
At present, it is thought unlikely that the infection will spread. Furthermore, the student did not attend campus for the two days before, or since, developing a fever.
As a result, Keio University will not be implementing university closure measures. Each campus and affiliated school will be conducting classes and extracurricular activities as usual.
We ask that you please continue to check the Keio University website and student website for updates.
For reminders about Influenza A (H1N1) please check previous announcements. As per usual, please consult with a healthcare provider if you have influenza-like symptoms such as a cough or fever.
