President Anzai was elected Chairman of APRU

On 28 June, at the 12th Annual Presidents Meeting of APRU (Association of Pacific Rim Universities) held at Mita Campus of Keio University, President Yuichiro Anzai was elected Chairman of APRU to succeed former Chairman Gavin Brown, Principal of the University of Sydney.

APRU is a consortium of leading research universities of the Pacific Rim. Keio University became an APRU member in 2002. President Anzai was elected Vice Chairman in 2007, and was elected Chairman this year. Keio University hosted the first Annual Presidents Meeting ever to be held in Japan.
