On 21 March from 1 p.m., the presentation ceremony of the scholarship to promote studying overseas funded by “Design the Future Fund“ in commemoration of Keio University's 150th anniversary was held at the Public Speaking Hall of Mita Campus.

"Design the Future Fund" was established as a commemorative project of Keio's 150th anniversary for the purpose of nurturing future leaders with sprits of independence and collaboration, and at this time, in order to encourage students to study abroad and to make achievements on the international stage, a scholarship was offered to ten Keio students who made outstanding progress in overseas universities as exchange students of Keio University's exchange program.

At the ceremony, Professor Norikazu Kudo, Vice President of Keio University, explained the general outline of the "Design the Future Fund ". Following this, Professor Shinnosuke Obi, Director of the International Center made comments on the selection, and Professor Tatsuya Sakamoto, Vice President for International Collaboration and Education of Keio University, presented the scholarship money to the students and gave a congratulatory speech. Finally, Mari Tanaka in fourth year level of the Department of Political Science of the Faculty of Law gave a speech on behalf of the exchange students, mentioning significance of the exchange program based on her own experience.
