Access Guide to the Hiyoshi Campus
The Hiyoshi Campus is conveniently situated and can be reached in approximately a 1-minute on foot from Hiyoshi Station on the Tokyu-Toyoko Line. An avenue lined with gingko trees right in front of the station immediately takes you to the heart of Hiyoshi Campus.
From Downtown Tokyo
- Take the Yamanote Line (JR) to Shibuya Station. Transfer to the Tokyu-Toyoko Line there and get off at Hiyoshi Station. The train ride from Shibuya Station to Hiyoshi Station takes about 25 minutes by local train. The express train takes about 20 minutes. The commuter express train takes about 18 minutes. The limited express train does not stop at Hiyoshi station.
- Take the Subway Mita Line to Hiyoshi Station.
- Take the Subway Namboku Line to Hiyoshi Station.
From the Yokohama Area
- Take the Keihin-Tohoku Line (JR) to Yokohama Station. Transfer to the Tokyu-Toyoko Line there and get off at Hiyoshi Station. The train ride from Yokohama Station is about 20 minutes by local train. The express train takes approximately 15 minutes. The commuter express train takes about 11 minutes. Limited express trains do not stop at Hiyoshi station.
- Take the Yokohama Municipal Subway Green Line to Hiyoshi Station.
From the Kansai Area
Shin-Yokohama is the most convenient station when traveling to the Hiyoshi Campus by bullet train (JR Shinkansen) from the Kansai area.
Take the Shinkansen to Shin-Yokohama. Transfer to the Yokohama Line (JR) there and get off at Kikuna Station. The ride from Shin-Yokohama Station to Kikuna Station takes about 3 minutes. At Kikuna, take the Tokyu-Toyoko Line and get off at Hiyoshi Station. It takes 6 minutes from Kikuna Station to Hiyoshi Station by local train. The express and
the commuter express train take 5 minutes. Limited express trains do not stop at Hiyoshi station.
From Narita International Airport
- Take the Narita Express (N'EX (JR)) to Tokyo Station or to Shinagawa Station. It takes just 53 minutes to Tokyo Station from Narita Airport. Transfer to the Yamanote Line (JR) bound for Shibuya or Shinjuku. Get off at Shibuya Station and transfer to the Tokyu-Toyoko Line to get to Hiyoshi Station.
- Take the Narita Express (N'EX (JR)) to Tokyo Station. Transfer to the Yokosuka Line (JR) bound for Yokosuka or Kurihama. Get off at Shin-Kawasaki Station. The train ride from Tokyo Station to Shin-Kawasaki Station takes 20 minutes. Take a taxi from Shin-Kawasaki Station to the Hiyoshi Campus.
- A limousine bus runs from the airport to the Tokyo City Air Terminal (T-CAT). At T-CAT, go downstairs to the subway station Suitengu-mae Station (Subway Hanzomon Line) and take a train bound for Nagatsuta or Chuo-rinkan. At Shibuya Station, transfer to the Tokyu-Toyoko Line to Hiyoshi Station.
- A limousine bus runs from the airport to Yokohama City Air Terminal (Y-CAT). Follow the signs from the Y-CAT terminal to Yokohama Station, take the Tokyu-Toyoko Line there and get off at Hiyoshi Station. The train ride from Yokohama Station takes about 20 minutes by the local train. The express train takes 15 minutes. The commuter express train takes about 11 minutes. Limited express trains do not stop at Hiyoshi station.
From Haneda Airport (Domestic)
- Monorail trains (Tokyo Monorail) run between Haneda Airport and Hamamatsu-cho Station. From Hamamatsu-cho, take the Yamanote Line (JR) to Shibuya. Transfer to the Tokyu-Toyoko Line there and get off at Hiyoshi Station.
- Take the Keikyu Line to Yokohama Station. The train ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Transfer to the Tokyu-Toyoko Line there and get off at Hiyoshi Station. The train ride from Yokohama Station is about 20 minutes by the local train. The express train takes 15 minutes. The commuter express train takes about 11 minutes. Limited express trains do not stop at Hiyoshi station.
