KEIO TECHNO-MALL 2011 "Let's get started."
The Keio Leading-edge Laboratory of Science and Technology (KLL; Yokohama City) will hold KEIO TECHNO-MALL 2011 on December 9th (Fri) at the Tokyo International Forum (Marunouchi, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo).
The theme for this year is "Let’s get started." The global financial uncertainty and large-scale natural disasters currently impacting our world also impact university research in a variety of ways, and this year's theme attempts to seize on this present situation as a starting point for the creation of new value in the field of science and engineering. How can everyone work together under difficult circumstances to direct daily research activity towards addressing the immediate issues which we all face?
KEIO TECHNO-MALL 2011 offers roughly 80 demonstrations, showcases and panel displays of the various research results and technologies produced by Keio University's Faculty of Science and Technology and Graduate School of Science and Technology. At the same time, technology partnership seminars, two round-table sessions, a keynote speech by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) "Hayabusa" asteroid probe project team manager Junichiro Kawaguchi and a Premium Discussion involving Junichiro Kawaguchi and young researchers will be held.
We would like to ask to include this event in your event announcements as well as reporting firsthand the projects and results of the Keio University researchers and graduate students involved, who are on the cutting edge of science and technology research.
