Chinese University Students Visit Mita Campus
On December 4 (Tues.), around 40 students from Peking University and four other leading Chinese universities visited Mita Campus and took part in various activities with students of the Faculty of Economics.
The Chinese students came to Keio as part of the "Visit Japanese Enterprises and Feel Japan" Program, organized by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China, intended to help students to deepen their understanding of Japan by experiencing Japan and interacting with Japanese people firsthand.
Following group discussions with students mainly from the seminar group of Professor Tetsuya Komagata, Faculty of Economics, the visiting students were given a campus tour which included the Keio University Library (old building) and Public Speaking Hall ("Mita Enzetsu-kan"). The day was rounded off with an informal networking reception, which proved to be a valuable opportunity for both Keio students and visiting students to build on the friendships that they had made throughout the day.
