Appreciation for the cooperation to the Keio University Tohoku-Pacific Earthquake Relief Fund

The Tohoku-Pacific Earthquake Relief Fund which started on March 17 in cooperation with Keio University’s constituent members have received quick and broad support from alumni, students, guardians, faculty, staff and many others, and fund raising activities were expanded in various fields.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all of you who have offered your kind support and cooperation.

We have closed fund raising activities as of end of July, and therefore report the details below.

We pray for the speedy recovery of the affected regions, and we will work closely with Keio's constituent members to continue support for all of the affected persons.

We appreciate all in advance for the continued cooperation.

*Part of the Relief Fund (11,000,000yen) will be used to fund the “Keio University Medical Relief Team”.

  • The final amount of the Relief Fund will be reported on our website and Mita-Hyoron as soon as it is confirmed.
  • If you wish to receive a tax deduction for your donation, please send us an e-mail or FAX with your name (in Kanji and Katakana), address, phone number, date of transfer, amount, and year of graduation and name of faculty for those who have graduated Keio University. We will then send you a receipt which will become necessary when filing your income tax returns.
