Yonsei University make a donation for Keio Students affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake
Keio University received three million yen as a donation on April 28th from Korea’s Yonsei University (President Han-Joong Kim). This donation was sent for Keio University students who have been affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and will be used for affected students’ scholarship.
President Seike expressed sincerest appreciation to President Kim.
Yonsei University and Keio University established agreements for Exchange Partner Institution in 1970 and educational collaboration in 2004, and both universities have been exchanging students and professors since then. Yonsei University is one of the most actively engaged universities for Keio University.
Graduate School of Yonsei University and Graduate School of Media and Governance, Keio University, offer double degree program and also, the exchange program named “Three-Campus Comparative East Asian Studies Program” is offered by Yonsei University, the University of Hong Kong, and Keio University.
Yonsei University and Keio University have each office at both universities and promoting wide-ranging exchanges.
