Prof. Yutaka Shimomura's jumping egg makes news

Keio University Prof. Yutaka Shimomura and his research team have recently proven by experiments that when spun, a hard-boiled egg will spontaneously jump as it rises from the horizontal to the vertical position. The findings have been published in the prestigious science journal "Proceedings of the Royal Society A", an article on the phenomenon has also appeared on the website for "Nature" and "Science".
