47th Annual Mita Festival

Update:Dec. 06, 2005

The 47th annual Mita Festival was held over four days between Sunday, November 20 and Wednesday, November 23. The Mita Festival is a four-day university festival organized by students and held at Keio University's Mita Campus. On the central stage and at various recitals around the campus, students amazed everyone with their professional performances which included music, dance, traditional Japanese dance as well as magic, martial arts and traditional Japanese performing arts. A large number of visitors also came to the campus to participate in lectures by prominent people and to attend each seminar group's announcement of their research achievements, the product of many months of preparation.

The number of visitors this year topped 200,000 and the festival was extremely successful once again this year thanks to the efforts of Keio students.
