New Partnership with Queen Mary, University of London
On Monday November 21, Keio University President Yuichiro Anzai and Vice-President Tatsuya Sakamoto joined Principal Adrian Smith and International Office Head Pat Power at Queen Mary, University of London for a signing ceremony to commemorate a new collaborative partnership. The agreement, which includes an exchange program that will be open to Keio students from the 2006 academic year, aims to facilitate student and faculty exchange, and research cooperation between the two institutions. Keio students accepted into the program will be housed in university dormitories located in the center of London. Queen Mary, University of London is located in the heart of London's East End, and is known for its high quality teaching and research in Humanities, Social Sciences and Law; Medicine and Dentistry; and Science and Engineering. It has a strong international reputation, with over 20 per cent of students coming from over 100 countries.
