New Partnership with Hanoi University of Technology

On Monday September 12, Keio University signed a comprehensive exchange agreement with Hanoi University of Technology at HUT campus in Vietnam.
HUT Rector, Prof. Hoang Ba Chu, Vice-Rector, Prof.Ha Duyen Tu and Chief of International Exchange, Prof. Hoang Xuan Lan were in attendance, while Keio was represented by Vice-President for International Collaboration, Prof. Tatsuya Sakamoto and Director of the Global Security Research Institute (G-SEC), Prof. Aftab Seth. The new partnership will focus on promoting international exchange programs and joint research for scholars and students.

HUT is the oldest national university of technology in Vietnam (est.1956), and one of the leading universities in the field of information technology in the country. HUT is an academic research institution and has many graduates in fields such as engineering as well as government officers and well-known scientists.
